Three Charged Following Drug Sting

Two Spokane men and a St. Maries, Idaho, woman were jailed Thursday after they sold undercover detectives methamphetamine out of a local hotel room, sheriff’s deputies said.

Trek Vincent Carey, 25, Thomas Robert Fredrick, 31, and Kasey Ann Willard, 24, were booked into the Spokane County Jail on charges of possession of and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Carey and Willard also was charged with delivery of methamphetamines.

Detectives with the Spokane Regional Drug Task Force on Thursday made a controlled purchase of methamphetamine inside the room of a motel on state Highway 2 west of Spokane, deputies said.

They served a search warrant and recovered several ounces of meth worth about $2,000, as well as cash.
