Don and Joyce Spear, of Spokane, observed their 50th wedding anniversary March 19. The Spears plan to celebrate with a cruise to the Mexican Riviera in June.

Their children and spouses are Vicki and Bill Snow, Spokane; and Kris and Tim Quinn, Gig Harbor, Wash.

The Spears were married March 19, 1948, in Spokane. They have five grandchildren.
