There have been many rumors surrounding Don Johnson’s San Francisco stay. The 48-year-old “Nash Bridges” star has been linked to a teenage co-star and a 60-something socialite.

Now the truth comes out: He’s engaged to a 29-year-old former debutante.

Kelly Phleger, stepdaughter of a prominent San Francisco attorney, is wearing a 5-carat, square-cut diamond engagement ring. This will be her first marriage.

“I made a decision a long time ago to keep my private life private,” she told reporters. But when asked whether she was happy, she laughed and replied “Yes!”

Johnson had two early marriages annulled. He has a son with actress Patti D’Arbanville-Quinn, and he twice married and divorced actress Melanie Griffith (1975-76 and 1989-96), with whom he has a daughter.
