Boaters ranging from canoeists to sailors have good slide programs to choose from this week:

Greg Smith, who lived the dream of sailing around the world in a 39-foot sailboat, will show slides from his 3-1/2-year, 45,000-mile adventure Thursday, 7 p.m., at REI, 1125 N. Monroe.

Paddle Routes of the Inland Northwest, a multi-media adventure for canoeists and kayakers based on a newly released guidebook, will be presented in Coeur d’Alene by Rich Landers and Dan Hansen on Thursday, 7 p.m., at North Idaho College’s Seiter Hall, Room 103.
