He’Ll Need To Worry If We Ignore His Problems

With his latest movie being “Almost Heroes,” which pairs him with the late Chris Farley, Matthew Perry’s big-screen career isn’t going anywhere.

But “Friends” is still going strong.

And besides, he kicked drugs, remember?

“I know that given a really difficult situation, I stepped up and swung the bat and helped myself,” Perry told TV Guide. “Anything can come at me now, and I feel like I can take it, because I got myself through that.”

According to Perry, his addiction to the pain killer Vicodin developed after wisdom tooth surgery and a fall from a Jet Ski.

“I took them for the right reasons, at first,” Perry said, but after the pain was gone, his craving for the drug remained. “I was finding that I needed to take these things. That was the wake-up call.”

Cindy Crawford was right behind with $35.9 million, followed by Claudia Schiffer ($34 million), Linda Evangelista ($28 million) and Naomi Campbell ($27.5 million).

In her spare time, she’s looking for a cure

Speaking of supermodels, Cindy Crawford hasn’t had a spotlessly fun life. When she was 8 years old, her brother died of leukemia. “At a very early age, I learned there was cancer treatment and death,” Crawford told the New York Times.

Gloria Steinem wasn’t happy about having to share the stage with Hugh Hefner at the recent American Society of Magazine Editors’ Hall of Fame ceremony. When asked about being inducted along with the Playboy publisher, Steinem remarked, “It’s like a conservationist being given an award with a head of a timber company.”

The bad news is that the ‘Capeman’ producer is involved

Seems Hollywood can’t get enough of Selena. Already there’s been a feature film, a TV drama, books, dolls and a clothing line devoted to the late Tejano singer. Now a Broadway musical is in the works.
