U.S. Navy Lt. Frederica Spilman, a flight officer based in Pensacola, Fla., appears in the June issue of Playboy. She says she hopes posing nude will help shine up the Navy’s image, tarnished by the Tailhook scandal of 1991. The Navy says it may bring administrative disciplinary action and perhaps more serious charges against Spilman.
