Birth Mothers’ Event Planned

Thu., May 7, 1998

A special Mother’s Day celebration is being planned for birth mothers who have given a child up for adoption. The lunch will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday at the Children’s Home Society, 5315 S. Scott.

The lunch will give women an opportunity to connect with other women who have given a child up for adoption. The event is being sponsored by the Children’s Home Society, Catholic Charities, Lutheran Social Services and Spokane Consultants in Family Living. The lunch is free.
