Detectives Have Identified Bodies Found In Burning Van

Two men whose bodies were found in the back of a burning van have been identified as Christopher Roche, 28, of Federal Way and Gregory Foster, 25, of Renton.

The bodies were discovered after a 4:30 a.m. Thursday blaze inside a van parked at the Highland Crest Apartments on Kent’s East Hill.

The cause of death probably won’t be known for four to six weeks, said the King County medical examiner’s office.

Kent Police said they were investigating the deaths as if they were homicides.

The van in which the fire erupted was a stolen vehicle. Police were looking for a man and woman, both about 18 years old, who were seen running from the scene of the fire.
