Is your friend a great doodler? Then enter his or her masterpiece in the Our Generation doodle contest. Send us their best piece of doodle (originals only, please) along with a 35-word statement about it. Include their full name, school, age, phone number and address.

Doodles can be in pencil, pen, black and white or color. One doodle per person, please. Only students in grades 7 to12 are eligible to enter. The top three doodlers get $15 each and we’ll publish as many as we can.

The Chase Youth Commission is looking for specialty acts by anyone 18 and under for the KidsWeek ‘98 Talent and Variety Show. Auditions will be held June 1, at the Spokane Civic Theater, 1020 N. Howard at 5 p.m. For more information call 625-6440.

Mead High School’s debate team is hosting its second annual bingo night on Tuesday. All ages are welcome. Bingo cards sell for $1 dollar each or six cards for $5. Prizes have been donated by local businesses including the Music Box Company, Boo Radley’s, Inprints and others. Games start at 6 p.m. in the west cafeteria. The money raised will go toward funding the debate team’s trips to tournaments. For more information, call 465-6000.
