The second annual Potlatch Timbersports and Natural Resources Expo begins at 10 a.m. May 29.

The two-day fair features logging sports, a miniature sawmill, gold panning, paper-making and exhibits of logging machinery. Idaho artist John Gilliam will display logging sculptures and demonstrate sculpting techniques. Tom Farbo will read from his book, “White Pine, Wobblies and Wannigans,” focusing on North Idaho logging history.

The event is free and open to the public. It takes place at the Scenic 6 Historical Park on Highway 6.
