Joanna Adams Recognized As Distinguished UI Alumnae

Joanna Adams, Community Health Educator at Panhandle Health District, has been chosen to receive the University of Idaho, Margaret Richie School of Family and Consumer Science Award for Distinguished Aluumnae.

The award is based on personal and professional achievement and outstanding service to the two organizations.

Jeff Diteman, a Post Falls High School senior, has been chosen as the April Student of the Month by the Post Falls Rotary.

Diteman, son of Richard and Donna Diteman of Coeur d’Alene, maintains a 3.5 grade-point average and was a National Merit Finalist.

He was granted the Albertson College full-tuition Achievement Scholarship, was an All-American Scholar and was voted Most Outrageous Senior Personality this year at school.

Diteman was junior class president, a member of the French Club and went on the National Honor Society Paris Trip and studied French independently.

Diteman plans to attend Albertson College and double major in Political Science and English while maintaining options for law school or a doctorate in history.

Air Force Airman Simon Fraser, recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Edwin and Jackie Fraser of Spirit Lake, Idaho, and graduated in 1997 from Lakeland High School in Rathdrum.
