Centennial Trail Fest Next Week

The Centennial Trail will be the artery for a wide range of muscle-power events Saturday during the sixth annual Spokane River Centennial Trail Festival.

Fun runs for kids will join other events this year, including a five-mile walk/run, a 22-mile bicycle ride and a 6-mile in-line skating event.

Equestrians will meet in Riverside State Park for a three-hour ride along the river.

On the river, rafters will race from Barker Road to Plante’s Ferry, while canoeists will float leisurely on the calmer waters from Upriver Dam to the SIRTI site.
