Jaylene Spoor Graduates From Army Basic Training

Army Reserve Pvt. Jaylene A. Spoor, granddaughter of Robert and Shirley Spoor of Pinehurst, Idaho, has graduated from basic military training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., to become a member of the Army National Guard or Reserve Split-options Program.

Spoor, a Kellogg High School student, received instruction in drill and ceremonies, physical fitness, first aid, weapons, drill and ceremonies and military justice.

The program allows student between their junior and senior year of high school to attend National Guard or Reserve weekend drills while still in school and pursue a military career specialty after graduation.

Army Pvts. Robert W. Langheid and Nick R. Hubof have graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Ga.

Langheid is the son of Patty and Philip Langheid of Coeur d’Alene.

Hubof is the son of Linda Hawkins and Frank Hubof, both of Post Falls. He is a 1998 Post Falls High School graduate.
