‘Wars’ Prequel Australia Bound

George Lucas confirmed at a press conference in Sydney, Australia, Tuesday that the prequels “Star Wars Episode II” and “Episode III” will be shot at the recently opened Fox Studios Australia.

Both films are pegged at budgets of about $120 million each. Lucas is writing “Episode II” with filming scheduled to start in 2000. “Episode III” is slated to go in 2003.
