Moore Milestones Help Vandals Stop Aggies

Jessica Moore’s career-high 33 kills and 16 digs led Idaho to a 15-9, 18-16, 14-16, 17-15 Big West Conference volleyball victory over visiting Utah State on Thursday.

Beth Craig added 15 kills and 18 digs, and Shalyne Lynch had a career-best 18 kills for the Vandals (13-13 overall, 6-7 conference), who kept the Aggies (8-19, 4-9) from tying them for third place in the East Division.

Idaho hit a match-best .353 in the first game. Both teams struggled in the final game, when the Vandals hit .182 and Utah State .151. Idaho trailed the final game 14-8 before rallying.

Moore recorded her 1,000th career dig in the first game. Her 34 kills were one shy of the school record set by Tzvetelina Yanchulova in 1994.
