Packages Collected For Mitch Victims

Care packages for victims of Hurricane Mitch can be dropped off beginning Friday at Bryan Elementary School.

The packages, which will be distributed by World Vision, should include three five-ounce bars of soap, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a washcloth, an 18-ounce bottle of shampoo and a plastic comb. The items should be put in a zip-lock bag. Clean blankets are also in demand.

The care packages will be distributed along with food to hurricane victims.

The packages will be collected until Nov. 20, when they will be shipped to World Vision in Los Angeles for distribution to hurricane victims.
