Wedding vows were exchanged by Melissa K. Valley and Kevin T. Bovenkamp in an Aug. 14 ceremony at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church.

Jerry and Georgi Valley, Veradale, are parents of the bride. Bovenkamp is the son of Herm and Charlotte Bovenkamp, Lynden, Wash.

A reception followed at Cavanaughs Ridpath Hotel. The Bovenkamps are living in Seattle after a honeymoon in Mexico.
