Einer and Florence Loreen, Spokane, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with friends Ken and Doris Strong at Mukogawa Commons on Oct. 25.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Carole and Larry Montgomery, and Leonard and Jan Loreen, all of Spokane; Virginia and Damon Coffman, Portland; and Kristy and Brian Hilst, and Andy Loreen, all of Bellevue.

The Loreens were married Nov. 5, 1948, in Spokane. They have nine grandchildren.
