(Where are They?) as a Chilean protest group - the Metropolitan Federation of Communal and Neighboring Organizations - filed a lawsuit against Gen. Augusto Pinochet on Friday, charging him with involvement in the deaths of 76 of its members during protests against his regime in the 1980s. It is the 14th lawsuit brought agianst the embattled 82-year-old former dictator since his arrest in a London hospital last month on a warrant by a Spanish judge who wants to extradite him to face charges of genocide and murder. Pinochet’s legal fate now rests with Britain’s House of Lords, which has set Nov. 25, his 83rd birthday, to rule on whether he should be extradited to face trial.
