Mabel Lindahl Coeur d’Alene
Memorial service for Mabel L. Lindahl, 82, will be today at 11 a.m. at Community United Methodist Church in Coeur d’Alene. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lindahl, who was born in Indiana, died Thursday.
She lived in Minnesota before moving to the Coeur d’Alene area in 1945.
She was a homemaker and worked as an assistant at her husband’s chiropractic office.
She was a member of Community Methodist Church, taught Sunday School and was active in the church women’s organization.
Mrs. Lindahl was a former Cub Scout den mother and P.T.A. president.
Survivors include her husband, Wes; two sons, David and Dennis Lindahl, both of Oregon; a daughter, Loree Mensch of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; two sisters, Medrith Meyer and Marjorie Draheim, both of Minnesota; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Fern Prishmont Spokane
Memorial service for Fern Elizabeth Prishmont, 77, will be at 3 p.m. today at Coffelt’s Funeral Service in Sandpoint. Inurnment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Sandpoint.
Mrs. Prishmont, who was born in Heron, Mont., died Monday.
She grew up and attended school in Heron and then lived in Montana and Reardan, Wash., moving to Spokane in 1995.
Survivors include her husband, George; three children, Barbara Reeser of Thompson Falls, Mont, and Sandra Potts and James Prishmont, both of Spokane; a brother, Floyd McNeil of Sandpoint; two sisters, Margaret Snively of Oregon and Betty Knoulton of Spokane; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Rose Sacco Spokane
Funeral for Rose C. Sacco, 96, will be at 10 a.m. today at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Private burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
A 75-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Sacco, died Tuesday. She was born in Italy.
She worked in housekeeping for the Davenport Hotel and HennesseySmith Funeral Home for several years.
Mrs. Sacco was a member of St. Aloysius Parish.
Her husband, Emil, died in 1977.
Survivors include three sons, Silvio, Orry and Ralph Sacco, all of Spokane; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Jalmer ‘Jim’ Hattamer Spokane
Memorial service for Jalmer “Jim” Hattamer, 74, is at 2 p.m. today at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home.
A 50-year Spokane resident, Mr. Hattamer, died Tuesday. He was born in Cornell, Wis.
He worked as an engineer in road construction for several years and was a member of the Operating Engineers Union.
Survivors include a son, Tom Hattamer of Sultan, Wash.; two daughters, Joyce Brooks of Otis Orchards and Cheryl Hladilek of Holcombe, Wis.; three brothers, Ralph Hattamer of Spokane, and Gerald and Cliff Hattamer, both of Holcombe; two sisters, Frances Nash of Missoula, Mont. and Jeanette Gerberding of Sheldon, Wis.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mary McLachlan Redwood City, Calif.
Vigil service for Mary Francelle McLachlan, 88, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Mass is planned for 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1503 W. Dean. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mrs. McLachlan, who was born in Brinkley, Ark., died Sunday.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Parish.
In 1988 she moved to Redwood City.
Her husband, John, died in 1982.
Survivors include a son, John McLachlan of Redwood City; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Irvin ‘Dick’ Stone St. Maries
Graveside service for Irvin Richard “Dick” Stone, 74, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in St. Maries. Yates-Hodge Funeral Home in St. Maries is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Stone, who was born in Texas, died Thursday.
He grew up in Tucson, Ariz., and served with the Marine Corp during World War II. He also was a sea-going Marine, serving in Korea from 1950 to 1951.
Mr. Stone received two Purple Hearts and retired from the Marines in 1962.
He worked for the Forest Service and served as a sale administrator in the Tahoe National Forest in California. He later moved to St. Maries and served in the St. Joe National Forest.
Illness forced his retirement in 1980.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Eunice; and two sisters, Flo Davis and Georgie Miller, both of California.

Rev. Ronald Travis Spokane
Visitation for the Rev. Ronald J. Travis, 56, will be from noon to 6 p.m. today and Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. David’s Episcopal Church.
A 28-year Spokane resident, the Rev. Travis, died Wednesday. He was born in Helena.
In 1960 he graduated from Rancho High School in Las Vegas, Nev., and married Sue Clark in 1964.
Rev. Travis graduated from Spokane Falls Community College with a degree in photography in 1976.
In 1981 he was ordained as a deacon in the Episcopal Church.
Rev. Travis graduated from Eastern Washington University with a bachelor of social work in 1993.
He served as deacon at St. David’s Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Gregory Travis of Spokane, Jeffrey Travis of Pullman and Eric Travis of Syracuse, N.Y.; his parents, James and Virginia Travis of Ashland, Ore.; a sister, Debbie Georgianna of Phoenix, Ore.; and two grandchildren.

Duane Lalonde Spokane
No service will be held for E. Duane Lalonde, 71. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A 24-year Spokane resident, Mr. Lalonde, died Tuesday. He was born in Twisp, Wash., and raised in Yakima.
In 1945 he joined the Army and served in Japan at the end of World War II.
Mr. Lalonde graduated with a degree in music education from Central Washington College.
In 1960 Mr. Lalonde moved to Ashland, Ore., and started L&L Sign Company.
In 1962 he moved back to Washington and taught in various schools for 20 years.
He moved to Spokane in 1974, and with his wife ran a catering company that served businesses at Spokane Industrial Park. He retired in 1988.
Mr. Lalonde was a member of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include his wife, Nadine; a son, Stephen Lalonde of Spokane; three daughters, Roseanne Skeels of Cle Elum, Wash., Diana Machado of San Ramon, Calif., and Katherine Stockton of Lacey, Wash.; a brother, Merle Lalonde of Pioneer, Calif; and numerous grandchildren.

Joe Koerner Spokane
Private cremation service for Joe “Little Joe” Koerner, 38, will be held at a later date. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mr. Koerner, died Tuesday from complications due to diabetes.
He worked in construction and as a heavy equipment operator for many years.
He was involved in stock car racing at Spokane area race tracks.
Survivors include a son, Lonny Koerner; four sisters, Joy, Donna, Judy and Lois; and two brothers, Roy and Lonnie.

Lola (Lloyd) Hughes Colfax, Wash.
Funeral for Lola (Lloyd) Hughes, 97, is planned for 11 a.m. Monday at Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will follow at Colfax Cemetery.
Born in Colfax, Mrs. Hughes died Wednesday.
She moved to Eugene, Ore., and worked various jobs for a few years. In 1932 she married Lee Hughes.
Mrs. Hughes returned to the Colfax area shortly after her marriage and then moved to the Princeton/Harvard area of Idaho where her husband worked in the woods.
In the late 1930s they moved back to Colfax. In 1942 they moved to Portland where her husband worked in the shipyards for a year, before they returned to Colfax.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Community Bible Church.
Her husband died in 1971.
Survivors include a son, Bruce Hughes of Uniontown, Wash.; a sister, Dorothy Moore of Colfax; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Agnes (Meloche) Bergquist Spokane
Memorial service for Agnes Catherine (Meloche) Bergquist, 83, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mrs. Bergquist, died Monday.
She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, William; a stepson, Gerald Bergquist of Tacoma; and a sister, Dorothy Clark of Spokane.
Laura Sorenson Spokane
Memorial service for Laura Ann Sorenson, 83, will be held at a later date at the Hunters (Wash.) Assembly of God Church. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sorenson, who was born in Fruitland, Wash., died Wednesday.
She lived in the Hunters area for 50 years and in 1998 moved to Spokane.
Mrs. Sorenson was a homemaker and a member of the Hunters Assembly of God Church and the Hunters Senior Citizens Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Witten of Spokane; and two sisters, Millie Stephens and Ellen Gardner, both of Spokane.
Charles Wunsch Spokane
Visitation for Charles E. Wunsch, 78, will be from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at Heritage Funeral Home. Funeral is planned for 10 a.m. Dec. 5 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
Mr. Wunsch, who was born in Milan, Wash., died Tuesday.
He served in the Navy attached with the merchant marines. He also worked as a brick mason for Alcoa for several years and then Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation for 31 years.
He wife, Midge, died in 1978.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Wunsch of Spokane; a brother, Hugh Wunsch of Opportunity; and a grandson.
Kathleen Sanders Yakima
Graveside service for Kathleen F. Sanders, 96, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant View Cemetery in Post Falls. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sanders, who was born in British Columbia, died Wednesday.
She grew up in the Spokane Valley and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School. She later moved to Veradale.
Mrs. Sanders worked for Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Veradale for many years and moved to Yakima in 1991.
Her husband, Harold, died in 1985.
Survivors include two sons, Harold Sanders Jr. of Seattle and Joseph Sanders of Anacortes, Wash.; two daughters, Mary Rozell of Redmond, Wash., and Kathleen Culp-Cowin of Wapato, Wash.; and 11 grandchildren.
