Bonners Ferry High’S Runners Continue Impressive Pace

The more Harry O’Dell sees his team run, the more impressed he gets.

The Bonners Ferry High cross country coach watched his boys finish a close second to Colville in the B race of the Farragut Invitational last weekend.

He wasn’t disappointed with second. He said his team would have won easily had its No. 4 runner, Dan Hilden, competed, but Hilden didn’t run because of an infection in one foot.

What especially pleased O’Dell - who earlier in the season bluntly announced his team as the favorite to win the State A-2 title - was freshman Forest Braden, who was second on his team and seventh overall.

The Badgers will be at the McCall Invite on Saturday.
