Two Robberies By Same Man?

A man who may have robbed two Spokane Valley businesses in less than 30 minutes Tuesday left his gun at one of the scenes, sheriff’s deputies said.

The robber dropped his pistol on the floor of a Zip Trip, 10304 E. Broadway, and left it there after robbing the clerk of cash, gift certificates and phone cards at about 10:20 p.m., deputies said.

A man who fits a similar description held a gun to a customer’s head while attempting to rob the Taco Time at 6704 E. Sprague at about 10 p.m., deputies said.

Investigators are not sure at this time if both robberies were committed by the same man.

But, the suspect in both robberies is described as white, 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, 150 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about these incidents should call Crime Check at 456-2233.
