Greyhound Worker Robbed At Knife Point

A man robbed a Greyhound Bus Lines employee at knife point early Wednesday in downtown Spokane, police said.

The employee told police he was counting money at the Greyhound offices at 221 W. First about 3 a.m. when a man walked in, brandished a 6-inch knife and demanded the cash.

Police said the robber took an undisclosed amount of money and ran out the baggage door, which the employee and a security guard said was locked 30 minutes before the holdup.

The thief is described as black, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a muscular build. He had very short black hair and a widow’s peak.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
