Kathy Van Hout exchanged wedding vows with Eric Mellstrom in an Aug. 29 ceremony at Assumption Roman Catholic Church.

The bride is the daughter of Hank and Sue Van Hout, Spokane. The bridegroom is the son of Judi and Don Myers, Spokane, and Gary and Ardelle Mellstrom, Clarkston, Wash.

A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The Mellstroms are living in Spokane after a honeymoon on the San Juan Islands and Victoria, British Columbia.
