The following offices and services will be affected by the Labor Day holiday.

Garbage service in Coeur d’Alene will be one day late. Post Falls and rural garbage pickup will not be affected.

City and county offices will be closed.

Post offices will be closed.

State liquor stores will be closed.

Most banks will be closed.

School districts in Kootenai, Boundary, Bonner, Benewah and Shoshone counties will be closed.

Local journalism is essential.
