The North Hill Neighborhood Council will meet tonight at 7 at Willard Elementary, 500 W. Longfellow.

Balboa Neighborhood residents are planning to meet tonight at 7 at the Balboa Elementary School library, 3010 W. Holyoke.

The meeting will feature nominations and elections of officers, as well as a discussion of the neighborhood cleanup program.

The Logan Neighborhood Council will host a neighborhood barbecue Sept. 13 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Gonzaga University Law School parking lot, 702 E. Sharp.

The council will also meet Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Northwest Regional Facilitators, 525 E. Mission.

The Northwest Neighborhoods Council will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Shadle Park Library. Joe Lamb, from the Spokane Transit Authority, will speak about STA’s new bus routes.
