Muhammad Ali and his wife Friday ended what they described as a nonpolitical trip to Cuba with a call for a lifting of the U.S. trade embargo against the Caribbean island. “I think human suffering transcends barriers,” Lonnie Ali said. The former heavyweight boxing champ suffers from Parkinson’s desease and has difficulty speaking. But he shook hands, kissed children, perfomred magic tricks and, at the training center, took to the basketball court and hit a shot from almost 3-point range.
