Robert A. and Doris L. (Bowman) Platt, Spokane, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 5 with a cruise on Lake Coeur d’Alene with family and friends

Hosts for the event were their daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and William Richards, Eagle, Idaho.

The Platts were married Sept. 2, 1938, in Spokane. They have five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
