Benjamin Mccully In Georgia For Army Training
Army Pvt. Benjamin K. McCully, son of Duane McCully of Deary, Idaho, and Barbra Flathers of Moscow, Idaho, recently arrived at the Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. to receive One Station Unit Training combining basic training and advanced individual training.
McCully is a 1997 Deary High School graduate.
Mary Sears, a member of Coeur d’Alene Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary 889 and past president of the national auxiliary, recently participated in the 85th national convention of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States held in San Antonio, Texas.
Sears, who will serve the Coeur d’Alene auxiliary as a member of the National Special Events Committee for 1998-99, was one of 5,000 members who attended convention activities.
Army Pvt. Adam J. Lawson, son of Deb Lehman of Harrison, and James Lawson of California, has graduated from the M1 Abrams tank turret mechanic course at Fort Knox, Ky.
Lawson is a 1997 Kootenai High School graduate.
Leslie M. Fowler, daughter of Clifford and Patricia Fowler of Athol, has completed basic cadet training and received the rank of cadet fourth class at the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs.
