Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a thief with a taste for buffalo wings.

Someone broke into the Pizza Time restaurant at 320 S. Pines early Saturday and took eight 2.5-pound bags of buffalo wings, a chef’s salad, four $1 bills and some spare change, according to police reports.

The thieves also smashed the window of an employee’s car left in the lot overnight, taking its stereo.

The restaurant’s manager discovered a screen vent kicked in when she arrived to open up just before noon Saturday.

The manager told police she noticed two white boys, both about 15, hanging out at a nearby pay phone just before she left the night before.

No arrests have been made.

The buffalo wings were valued at $46. The chef’s salad was a $5.40 loss.
