Hal and Dodie Johns, Spokane, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 12 with dinner and reception at the Brotherhood of Friends Lodge.

Hosts for the event were their sons and daughters-in-law: Steve and Judy Johns, Spokane; and Gary and Anna Johns, Dove Canyon, Calif.

The couple were married Sept. 15, 1948, in Spokane. They have five grandchildren.
