Richard D. and Doris Ewing, Spokane, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. today at the home of Pat Gander in Spangle.

Their children are Leslie Mael, Tacoma; and Richard D. Ewing Jr., Renton, Wash.

The Ewings were married Sept. 18, 1948, in Spokane. They have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
