Victoria Enos Colfax, Wash.
Funeral for Victoria Enos, 89, will be at 11 a.m. today at Colfax First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Colfax Cemetery. Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Enos, who was born in Wilson, N.C., died Sunday.
She graduated from Asotin (Wash.) High School and received a teaching certificate from Cheney Normal School.
Mrs. Enos taught at the Hubbard and Mount Lyons schools, both in the Colfax area, and then at Mayview School near Pomeroy, Wash.
In 1933 she married Dale Enos. They lived and farmed near Colfax for many years. Her husband died in 1981, and she moved into Colfax in 1984.
She is survived by a son, Earl Enos of Colfax; a daughter, Mary Smith of Santa Clarita, Calif.; two brothers, Paul and Robert Blevins, both of Clarkston, Wash.; two sisters, Lessie Limberg of Spokane and Rosa Altergott of Clarkston; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Colfax First Baptist Church or the Whitman Hospital Foundation.
James Stovall Spokane
Visitation for James A. Stovall, 76, will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home. Funeral is planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Nazarene in Post Falls. Burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park in Spokane.
Mr. Stovall, who was born in Peoria, Wash., died Friday.
He was raised in Waitsburg, Wash., and served in the Army during World War II in the Aluetian Islands.
Mr. Stovall moved to Spokane in 1946 after being discharged from the military.
He worked for Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood for 36 years and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Post Falls.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Louisa; a son, Larry Stovall of Spokane; two daughters, Dorothy Yohe of Livingston, Mont., and Mary Peterson of Marysville, Wash.; three stepsons, Stan Blum of Rapid City, S.D., Phillip Blum of Peoria and Noel Blum of Moscow, Idaho; two stepdaughters, Regina Manley of Eugene, Ore., and Beth Hanes of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two brothers, Lloyd Stovall of Seattle and Wilbur Stovall of Prosser, Wash.; three sisters, Jewell Ward and Doris Williams, both of Seattle, and Pearl Cooper of Michigan; six grandchildren, 18 stepgrandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Robert Botts Spokane
Visitation for Robert L. Botts, 73, will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Funeral is planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Mr. Botts, who was born in Spokane, died Thursday.
During World War II, he served as a Navy seabee in the South Pacific.
He worked for various contractors as a heavy equipment operator, retiring from Inland Asphalt in 1987.
Mr. Botts had been a member of Operating Engineers Union Local 379 since 1942. He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1435 and Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine; a brother, Donald Botts of Spokane; and a sister, Donna Young of Seattle.

James ‘Fred’ Wirth Coeur d’Alene
Visitation for James F. “Fred” Wirth, 79, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Funeral is planned for 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Wirth, who was born in Long Prairie, Minn., died Saturday.
He worked for the Spokane Valley Fire Department for 23 years, retiring in 1974.
Mr. Wirth also worked as a ranch hand and farmed in the Spokane Valley area.
His first wife of 52 years, Lenore, died in 1992.
Survivors include his wife of 20 months, Julia Wirth; three sons, James Wirth of Spokane, Timothy Wirth of Rathdrum, Idaho, and Jack Wirth of Post Falls; four daughters, Frances Goehri of Spokane, Rebecca Burnham of Greenacres, Nina Unfred of Valleyford and Susan Ferchland of Eugene, Ore.; two stepdaughters, Ardella Lucas and Connie Ashcraft; a sister, Genevieve Jones of St. Helens, Ore.; a brother, Robert Wirth; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Wayne Marienau Spokane
Funeral Mass for Wayne O. Marienau, 78, will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Marienau, who died Friday, was born in Truman, Minn.
He was raised in Ireton, Iowa, and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mr. Marienau had been a resident of Spokane since 1953.
Survivors include his wife, Bette; two daughters, Margo Mulberry of Spokane and Marlene Phillips of Newman Lake; a son, Terry Marineau of Las Vegas; a brother, Verle Marineau of Hawarden, Iowa; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Parish.
Ethel Longstreet Spokane
Memorial Mass for Ethel June Longstreet, 78, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Longstreet, who was born in Big Bay, Mich., died Friday.
She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Mrs. Longstreet had been a resident of Spokane for 15 years.
Her husband, Edwain Longstreet, died in 1981.
She is survived by a sister, Evelyn Nagle.
Ethel Brown Spokane
Visitation for Ethel Grace Brown, 88, will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Funeral is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
Mrs. Brown, who was born in Frederic, Wis., died Friday.
She was a homemaker and a 45-year Spokane resident. She was a deacon at Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church.
Her husband, Howard, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Marlin Sjoberg of Goldbar, Wash., and Gene Sjoberg of Portland; a daughter, Virginia Sapp of Akron, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Agnes Hoiseth Spokane
Visitation for Agnes W. Hoiseth, 80, will be from noon to 6 p.m. today and from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hoiseth, who was born in Havre, Mont., died Friday.
She graduated from North Central High School in 1938 and married Bernard Hoiseth in 1939.
Mrs. Hoiseth was a homemaker and a Spokane resident for 61 years.
Survivors include a son, Elmer Hoiseth of Spokane; a daughter, Karen Beaty; two brothers, Otto Tjostolvson of Spokane and Oruin Tjostolvson of Sandy, Ore.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Dale Ridnour Spokane
Funeral for Dale E. Ridnour, 71, is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Riplinger Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
Born in Livingston, Mont., Mr. Ridnour died Saturday.
He graduated from Polson (Mont.) High School.
Mr. Ridnour worked for the Postal Service for 37 years. He was postmaster in Nine Mile Falls when he retired in 1988.
After his retirement he divided his time between Spokane and Priest Lake, Idaho, where he was a property owner for the past 20 years.
Mr. Ridnour was a member of the the National Association of Postmasters, Elks Lodge 228, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 51 and the Priest Lake Kaniksu Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Donna; two daughters, Debbie Green and Rhonda McLellan, both of Spokane; a son, Rob Ridnour of Blaine, Wash.; a brother, Woodrow Ridnour of Polson; a sister, Marjorie Rollins of St. Ignatius, Mont.; and eight grandchildren.

Louis Gardipee Spokane
Memorial service for Louis J. Gardipee, 67, was Monday at Valley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1435.
Born in Lewistown, Mont., Mr. Gardipee died Thursday.
He served in the Korean War and later did road construction in Spokane.
Mr. Gardipee was a member of the Community Radio Watch Central Band Club, was a member and past commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1435 and a member and past Seam Squirrel of the Cooties PT 23.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Ruth; two sons, Lyle and Louis Gardipee, both of Spokane; five daughters, Debbie VanNote, Donna Johnson and Jamie Hacker, all of Spokane, Diane Veltri of Coeur d’Alene and Denise Allen of Wiscasset, Maine; and 12 grandchildren.
Conrad Frazier Hayden Lake, Idaho
Memorial service for Conrad Orville Frazier, 86, was Monday at St. Pius Catholic Church in Coeur d’Alene. Mr. Frazier, who was born in Sandpoint, died Thursday.
He graduated from the University of Idaho and then served in the Air Force as a colonel before retiring and moving to Spokane.
Mr. Frazier worked as a broker for Kidder Peabody in Spokane and moved to Hayden Lake in 1953.
He was a member of the Hayden Lake Country Club and the Coeur d’Alene Rotary.
Survivors include his wife, Susan.

Quentin Kloetsch Spokane
Private funeral Mass for Quentin J. Kloetsch, 74, will be held at St. Thomas More Parish. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kloetsch, who was born in Uniontown, Wash., died Wednesday.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
He owned RSVP Construction Co. and was voted one of the top 10 builders in Spokane in 1974.
Mr. Kloetsch was a member of Eagles Lodge No. 2, the Elks Lodge and St. Thomas More Parish.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, June; two sons, Larry Kloetsch of Spokane and Steven Kloetsch of Issaquah, Wash.; two daughters, Bonnie Cameron of Spokane and Joan McMurtry of Chula Vista, Calif.; a brother, Daniel Kloetsch of Spokane; a sister, Gloria Clements of Spokane; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
James Merriman Spokane
Funeral Mass for James Cory Merriman, 18, is planned for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Merriman, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Friday in Alaska, where he was working as a packer for a hunting guide.
He graduated from Jantsch High School and was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and the Knights of Columbus. He also volunteered at the soup kitchen at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his mother, Christine Merriman of Spokane; his father, Jim Merriman of Spokane; two brothers, Greg and Steven Jennen, both of Palmer, Alaska; two sisters, Erin Merriman, at the home, and Traci Christofero of Auburn, Wash.; and his grandparents, James and Alvida Merriman.
Eila Wendle Spokane
Memorial service for Eila Dean (Waldrop) Wendle, 92, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wendle, who was born in Caldwell, Idaho, died Sunday.
She was raised in Parma, Idaho, and in 1928 married Rex Wendle.
In 1929 Mrs. Wendle graduated with a degree in home economics from the University of Idaho, where she was also a charter member of the Alpha Phi sorority.
She played piano accompaniment to silent movies in Priest River, Idaho, for a few years, and in 1945 she moved to Spokane, where she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Wendle was a member of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, the Bishop’s Guild, Alpha Phi Alumni, Spokane College Women, P.E.O. Chapter AZ, and the Spokane Country Club. She was also active with the Heart Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
Survivors include he husband; two sons, Ronald Wendle of Spokane and Dean Wendle of Grants Pass, Ore.; a daughter, Kay Anderson of Spokane; a sister, Alice Cooke of Clarkston, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association, the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist or to the Sacred Heart Medical Center Development Fund.
Ilene McNett Spokane
Service for Evelyn “Ilene” McNett, 69, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Burial will follow at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. McNett, who was born in Rathdrum, Idaho, died Friday.
She grew up in Rathdrum and in 1946 graduated from high school there. She attended Morris Beauty School in Spokane.
Mrs. McNett lived on the Rathdrum Prairie and was a farmer for 10 years. She moved to Spokane in 1959.
She worked for Valley Floral as a designer, retiring in 1987 to Oregon.
Mrs. McNett recently returned to Spokane.
Survivors include her husband, Howard of Oregon; three sons, Don McNett of Rathdrum, and Ronald and Lonny McNett, both of Spokane; a daughter, Arlene McNett of Oregon; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Leroy Klumb Spokane
Visitation for Leroy Klumb, 76, is planned from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Funeral is set for 10 a.m. Friday at Hope Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Pines Cemetery.
Mr. Klumb, who was born in Ethan, S.D., died Sept. 25.
He served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific and the occupation of Japan.
He had been a resident of Spokane since 1951 and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
His wife of 40 years, Dorothy (Orr) Klumb, died in 1990.
Survivors include three sons, Gerry Klumb of Spokane, Melvin Klumb of Baton Rouge, La., and Glenn Klumb of Lacey, Wash.; a brother, Ozzie Klumb of Spearfish, S.D.; and 13 grandchildren.
