Gear Swap Set
Summer sports
Anyone can buy or sell used summer outdoors gear at The Gear Swap on April 17 in the Mountain Gear parking area, 2002 N. Division.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Exploring Division of the Boy Scouts Inland Northwest Council, said Peter Sanburn, Mountain Gear spokesman.
Ski and snowboard equipment will not be included to avoid interfering with the Mount Spokane Ski Patrol’s annual Ski Swap, he said. But all types of summer gear, including bikes and golf clubs, are welcome.
Seller space is limited and will be available first come, first served. Some tent space is available. Options range from $10 for an 8-foot table to $125 for 300 square feet.
Consigned equipment can be checked in at Mountain Gear, 5-8 p.m. on April 16. Info: 455-7657.
