Three From North Idaho Complete Basic Training

The following local airmen recently graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

Mark W. Robertson, a 1998 Wallace High School graduate and son of Michelle Carver of Wallace; Erica Matney, a 1997 Wallace High School graduate and daughter of Versie Marek of Coeur d’Alene, and Kenneth Matney of Wallace; and Troy E. Bullock, a 1998 graduate of Clark Fork Junior/Senior High School and son of Samuel and Teresa Bullock of Hope.

Jenna Disbro, daughter of Laura Disbro of Coeur d’Alene, has enlisted in the Army under the Delayed Entry Program and will report to basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., in August.

Army Pvt. Nathan O. Heflin, son of Dennis Heflin of Coeur d’Alene and Janice Parker of Florida, recently entered basic military training at Fort Jackson, S.C.

Heflin will receive eight weeks of instruction covering the Army mission, map reading, weapons, tactics, physical fitness and human relations.

Army Pvt. John L. Anderson, son of Leroy Anderson of Sandpoint, has arrived for basic military training at Fort Knox, Ky.

Anderson, who is a 1995 Sandpoint High School graduate, will receive eight weeks of instruction in military justice, drill and ceremonies, physical fitness, human relations, weapons and map reading. =-m Contact for Idaho Achievements is Sherry Adkins.
