NEW FACES:

Dr. Terri Lewis has joined Inland Imaging as a pediatric radiologist. Lewis, who is board certified in diagnostic radiology, graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and completed a radiology residency at St. Francis Hospital in Evanstown, Ill.

Duvoisin & Associates has hired Ben Peressini as director of healthcare economics. Peressini earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in statistics from Montana State University. He previously worked for Medical Service Corp. of Eastern Washington/Premera Blue Cross as conversion system lead and cost utilization analyst.

Principal Residential Mortgage Inc. has added the following people to its staff:

Kathy Bidle was hired as sales manager for the Spokane area. Bidle has 13 years of mortgage lending experience, including conventional, FHA, VA and construction loans, and 10 years of management experience with Washington Mutual Bank. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Eastern Washington University.

Christine Burton joined the company as a mortgage loan officer. She has six years of experience and previously was an internal loan representative at Washington Mutual Bank.

Amy Kremin was hired as a mortgage loan officer. Kremin, who has four years of lending experience, previously was an assistant manager at Washington Mutual Bank.

Janek Co. has added the following people to its staff:

Sue Myers joined the company as a residential specialist. Myers previously worked as a dental assistant for many years.

Bonnie Clark, who has several years of experience in the local business community, was hired as a commercial agent.

Richard Barrett joined Janek Co. as a commercial specialist. He has eight years of experience in commercial real estate and leasing.

MOVING UP:

ALSC Architects of Spokane has promoted four people to associate principal:

Marian B. Evenson, who is a 1981 graduate of Washington State University, has been with the firm for 17 years. She has provided programming, interior design and space planning service for clients such as the Spokane School District, Gonzaga University, Washington State University, Coldwater Creek, Cowles Publishing Co. and Telect.

Dave Huotari is a 1983 graduate of the University of Idaho and has been with ALSC for 13 years. He is heavily involved with K-12 school planning, including projects such as the new Browne Elementary School for Spokane School District 81, Franklin and Jefferson Elementary Schools in Pullman, and facility upgrades for Cusick School District.

W. Scott Whitesitt earned bachelors degrees in architectural studies and architecture in 1985 and 1986 from Washington State University. Whitesitt, who completed additional study in urban housing at the University of Copenhagen, joined ALSC in 1993. His design efforts include Trent Elementary School modernization in Spokane and several projects throughout the nation for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, including the award winning Base Exchange Shopping Mall at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

Rustin Hall received bachelors degrees in construction management and architecture in 1985 and 1984 from Washington State University. He joined ALSC six years ago. He has been involved in project development, design and construction administration for the city of Richland Shops Complex, the new Spokane Valley YMCA and the new Indoor Practice Facility at Washington State University.

STARTING UP:

Bridget Campbell has opened a media planning office for the Roulac Group of San Rafael, Calif., in Coeur d’Alene. The Roulac Group is a consulting firm whose work includes corporate property investments, REITs, securities forms and debt and equity positions. Campbell is media director for the company.

TRANSACTIONS:

GeoEngineers Inc. has acquired Gifford Consultants of Spokane. The combined operation will do business as GeoEngineers-Gifford. The acquisition gives Redmond, Wash.-based GeoEngineers a base for additional expansion in the Inland Northwest. The two operations will be completely integrated over the next two months, and both will move to a new, larger facility in June. James Harakas, manager of GeoEngineers’ Spokane office, will continue as the manager in Spokane. Allen Gifford, president of Gifford Consultants, is now a principal at GeoEngineers. All 12 Gifford employees are being retained.

MOVING:

Argonne Agency Inc. and R.G. Schoenberger Insurance, both independent insurance agencies, are merging operations. Both offices have moved to 324 N. Mullan Road.
