Ross and Patsy Nelson, Spokane, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise party April 1 at the home of Pam and Jim Jackson in Miramar, Fla.

Hosts for the event were their children: L.K. Gneva, Spokane; and Monica Alexander, Bryce Jackson and Lora McIntyre, all of Miramar, Fla.

The Nelsons were married April 1, 1949, in Spokane. They have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
