Bill Mize, Sidhe Perform Together
Finger-style guitar champion Bill Mize of Tennessee will join with local group Sidhe for concerts Friday in Spokane and Saturday in Sandpoint.
Mize, who took his inspiration from Elvis Presley, is well-known throughout the guitar-playing community. He has released several albums, including “Sugarlands,” “Tender Explorations” and “Coastin’.”
The husband-and-wife duo of Michael and Kelly Millham make up Sidhe (pronounced “she”). Both attended the Lionel Hampton School of Music in Moscow, Idaho. They have been performing throughout the Northwest to promote their self-titled debut album.
Their music has been described at a combination of new age, folk, Celtic, pop and classical styles.
Friday’s concert will be at 7 p.m. at the Art at Work Gallery, 123 N. Post. Tickets are $15, available at Cobblestone Bakery, 620 S. Washington; Vino, 1319 W. First, and Jimmy’Z, 521 W. Sprague. Admission includes refreshments.
Saturday’s event will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Gardenia Center at Fourth and Church in Sandpoint. Tickets are $10, available at the Dophin House at Third and Church in Sandpoint.
