U.S. Bank has hired Mark Rehn as assistant relationship manager in the Business Banking Department. Prior to being hired, Rehn completed an internship at the bank while working on a master of international management degree from Whitworth College.
Metropolitan Mortgage & Securities Co. Inc. has added the following people to its staff:
Pamela Going has joined the company as vice president of Metwest Mortgage Co., a Metropolitan subsidiary. She previously was regional vice president for Southern Pacific Funding Corp. in Lake Oswego, Ore.
Robert H. Shaw joined Metropolitan as chief marketing officer.
He formerly was vice president and portfolio manager for Security Pacific Financial Services, a division of Bank of America, in San Diego, Calif.
William Snider was named Metropolitan’s chief financial officer. He most recently was executive vice president and chief financial officer for the Continental Bank of Denver, Colo., and earlier was senior vice president and group head for Continental Bank in Chicago.
Carmen Vega joined Metropolitan as manager of its Escrow Services Business Department. Vega previously was the executive director of new branch development for United Financial Mortgage Corp. in Oakbrook, Ill.

Coffman Engineers of Spokane has been selected to provide structural and electrical engineering and design services for about 60 US West Wireless cell sites in Spokane and North Idaho. The work is under way and will continue over the next 12 months. Coffman will work on the project with W&H Pacific, a Bellevue, Wash.-based firm specializing in land development, transportation and utilities. Over the last 18 months, Coffman also has worked on Electric Lightwave switching facilities in Spokane; Seattle; Tukwila, Wash.; Oakland, Santa Clara and Santa Monica, Calif; and Las Vegas, Nev.
Day Wireless Systems has been appointed by Motorola as the new two-way dealer and service center serving Spokane. The company has opened a sales and service office at 125 E. Mission. It’s staffed by employees from the previous Motorola distributorship. Milwaukie, Ore.-based Day Wireless is a full-service wireless sales, service and consulting company with more than 30 locations serving customers along the West Coast from Canada to Mexico.
