Ivy Hunt Coeur d’Alene
Service for Ivy Irene Hunt, 95, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene. Graveside service will follow at Hunt Cemetery in Kingston, Idaho.
Mrs. Hunt, who was born in Colville, Wash., died Monday.
She grew up and attended schools in the Colville area, including completion of nurse training at Mount Carmel Hospital.
She married Tom Hunt in 1922.
Mrs. Hunt moved to the Silver Valley where she worked as a nurse at Providence Hospital in Wallace and Wardner Hospital in Kellogg. In 1941 she moved to Coeur d’Alene, where she worked at Lake City Hospital.
She was a member of the Kootenai Environmental Alliance, United Methodist Church, Eagles Auxiliary and Cataldo Our Day Out Club. She was involved in the preservation of Tubbs Hill.
Her husband of 74 years preceded her in death.
Survivors include five children, Margaret Toomey of Sandpoint, Naida Dupree of Spokane, Thomas Hunt of Tacoma, and Grace Smith and Billee Stanley, both of Coeur d’Alene; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Robert Kelly Spokane
Visitation for Robert M. Kelly, 79, will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
Mr. Kelly, who died Monday, was born in Sprague, Wash.
He graduated from Sprague High School and later served with the Marine Corps during World War II.
A 50-year Spokane resident, he worked as a district manager at Crescent Foods for more than 20 years.
Mr. Kelly was a member of the Sprague Masonic Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1474 and the Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include a son, Bob Kelly of Kennewick; two daughters, Ruthann Huellemann and Shannon Yates, both of Spokane; two brothers, Dean Kelly of Moses Lake and Ray Kelly of Tillamook, Ore.; six grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital For Children.
Kenton `Ken’ Martin Hope, Idaho
Visitation for Kenton L. “Ken” Martin, 78, will be Friday from 2-7 p.m. at Coffelt Funeral Service in Sandpoint. Service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Sandpoint.
Mr. Martin, who was born in Grenville, N.M., died Sunday.
He married Doris Whisler in 1941, and they lived in Nebraska before moving to North Idaho.
Mr. Martin then served with the Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
After his military service Mr. Martin settled in Hope and worked in the timber, construction and mining industries. He later worked as a welder for the Spokane International Railway before retiring in 1971.
He was a member of Eagles Aerie 589 and Veterans of Foreign Wars 2453.
His wife preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sons, David Martin of Utah, Dennis Martin of California and Thomas Martin of Hope; two daughters, Karen Rolf of Auburn, Wash., and Rita Decker of Hope; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Marguerite Gibbs Kettle Falls, Wash.
Funeral service for Marguerite (Starr) Gibbs, 93, will be at 10 a.m. today at Danekas Funeral Chapel in Colville, Wash. Burial will follow at Meyers Falls Cemetery in Kettle Falls.
Mrs. Gibbs, who was born near Brinkleman, Neb., died Sunday.
She worked as a teacher in Wyoming before marrying Irwin Gibbs in 1927..
In 1936 they moved to Wenatchee and then to Sedro Woolley and Winlock. In 1944 they moved to a farm at Clayton, Wash. They retired from farming in 1967 and moved to Kettle Falls.
Mrs. Gibbs was a member of the Greenwood Grange 373, for which she served as treasurer from 1970 to 1983, master from 1983 to 1989 and secretary from 1989 to 1996. She also served on the Kettle Falls City Council from 1984 to 1989.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Glenn Gibbs of Spokane, Bill Gibbs of Kettle Falls and Charles Gibbs of Kamiah, Idaho; a daughter, Margorie O’Connor of Spokane; a sister, Martha Couey of Rogue River, Ore.; nine grandchildren, six stepgrandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Donna Webb Coeur d’Alene
Memorial service for Donna Clara Webb, 65, will be Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Community Baptist Church, 3703 state Highway 57, Priest River, Idaho. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Webb, who was born in Wenatchee, died Sunday.
She moved to Coeur d’Alene at a very young age and in 1949 she married Robert Webb.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Lincoln Way Church of God in Coeur d’Alene.
Survivors include her husband of more than 50 years; two sons, Stephen and Richard Webb, both of Coeur d’Alene; a daughter, Lucinda WebbArnold of Belgrade, Mont.; two sisters, Pauline McNurlin of Coeur d’Alene and Carol Fujimoto of Denver; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Rex Heck Pullman
Visitation for Rex Seward Heck, 79, will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today with a rosary to follow at Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pullman. Burial will follow at Pullman City Cemetery.
Mr. Heck, who was born in Sioux City, Iowa, died Monday.
As a child, he moved with his family to Montana and then to Viola, Idaho. He graduated from Moscow (Idaho) High School in 1937.
He joined the Civilian Conservation Corps and worked in various camps. He later joined the Navy and served during World War II.
In 1945 he married Philomena Fimiani, and they moved to Viola.
He worked for the University of Idaho and later as a building engineer at Washington State University. He worked on Bohler Gym, Smith Gym and Beasley Coliseum. He retired in 1976.
He served as a maintenance man for Camp Easter Seal and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Pullman Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Donald Heck of Kirkland, Wash.; three daughters, Anita Stevenson of Bellevue, Wash., Anne Heck of Tacoma and Catherine Robe of Salem, Ore.; and nine grandchildren.

Frank Durrant Spokane
Visitation for Frank T. “Ted” Durrant will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mr. Durrant died Monday. He was 71.
He served in the National Guard.
Mr. Durrant worked in the lumber industry at Standard Lumber, Diamond Lumber and Georgia Pacific. He retired in 1990 as a warehouseman.
He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 690, Coast Guard Auxiliary and Pines Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Irena; five sons, Michael Koch of Spokane, Byron Koch of Liberty Lake, Tom Durrant of Otis Orchards, and Don Durrant and Douglas Koch, both of Anchorage, Alaska; six daughters, Marilyn Phillips of Otis Orchards, LaVada Hunter of Diamond Lake, Wash., Elizabeth Taylor of Seattle, Sherri Montgomery of San Diego, Maxine Koch of Stevenson, Wash., and Mary Anne Ledford of Bakersfield, Calif.; two brothers, Robert Durrant of Spokane and Doug Durrant of Valleyford; 29 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Carol (Gamon) Caldwell Spokane
Visitation for Carol B. (Gamon) Caldwell, 87, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 732 W. Indiana. Funeral is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at Spokane Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Caldwell, who was born in Buckeye, Wash., died Saturday.
She graduated from Cheney High School and in 1933 from Deaconess School of Nursing.
She married Clifton Caldwell in 1937. She worked as a registered nurse at Deaconess Hospital.
Mrs. Caldwell was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2nd Ward.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include a son, Clifton Caldwell Jr., and a daughter, Caryn Alley, both of Spokane; two brothers, Ralph Gamon of Spokane and Wilfred Gamon of Cheney; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
