David Gossett, who won the U.S. Amateur on Sunday, and Hunter Haas, who lost in the semifinals, were among the final five players chosen for the 10-man team that will represent the United States in the Walker Cup next month.

The U.S. Golf Association had already selected the first five players that will compete in the matches against amateurs from Great Britain and Ireland at Nairn Golf Club in Nairn, Scotland, on Sept. 11-12.

In addition to Gossett, 20, of Germantown, Tenn., and Haas, 22, of Norman, Okla., those selected Sunday were John “Spider” Miller, 49, of Bloomington, Ind.; Bryce Molder, 20, of Conway, Ark.; and Steve Scott, 22, of Coral Springs, Fla.
