Almira/Coulee-Hartline has put itself in position for the upcoming dash for state tournament berths.

Jamie Gwinn had 10 rebounds, and Tom Dormaier and Troy Thomas hit three 3-pointers apiece on Saturday to lead ACH to a 57-43 win over Odessa in a Bi-County League game at Harrington.

Odessa (12-3 league), which defeated ACH 67-35 earlier this year, was seeking to wrap up at least second place and an automatic berth to the District 7 tournament.

ACH (10-4 league) had just four turnovers and caught fire with less than 4 minutes left in the third quarter, when it led by just two. The Warriors’ Willie Murray scored a season-high 14.
