Dale Flomer Moscow, Idaho

Viewing for Dale H. Flomer will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Short’s Funeral Chapel in Moscow. Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Moscow with burial to follow at Genesee Lutheran Cemetery.

Mr. Flomer, who was born in Moscow, died Wednesday.

He graduated from Moscow High School in 1954 and worked as a farmer and at the family dairy near Moscow.

Mr. Flomer also drove a school bus for the Moscow School District and worked for Webster’s Marina.

He married Annajean Paroz in Moscow in 1960 and lived in Joel, Idaho, where he farmed for six years before returning to Moscow.

Mr. Flomer opened Dale’s Boat Service in Moscow in 1966 and continued to be active in the business and as a school bus driver.

He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Moscow, the Latah County Snowdrifter’s Snowmobile Club, and was a Bear Booster.

Mr. Flomer was a former Boy Scout leader for Troop 344 in Moscow.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Ricky Flomer of Moscow; two daughters, Pam Flomer of Spokane and Debbie Flomer of Moscow; a brother, Fritz Flomer of Moscow; and one grandson.

Memorials may be made to the Robert Flomer Fund at Emmanuel Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society.

Rocco Silletti Spokane

Funeral for Rocco W. Silletti, 79, will be at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A 54-year Spokane resident, Mr. Silletti died Thursday. He was born in Jersey City, N.J.

He married his wife, Norene, in 1946 and later moved to Spokane, where he worked as a bartender at the Davenport Hotel for 10 years. He retired in 1982.

Mr. Silletti was a member of Eagles Lodge 2 and Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Richard, David and Raymond Silletti, and a daughter, Diane Gamby, all of Spokane; a sister, Francis; a brother, Michael of Delaware; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ben Robinson Colfax, Wash.

No service will be held for Ben E. Robinson, 81, at his request. Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Robinson, who was born on a farm near Garfield, Wash., died Thursday.

He graduated from Garfield High School in 1935 and married Agnes McCormick in 1938.

Mr. Robinson farmed in the Garfield area for many years before retiring in 1981.

He was a member of the Ladow Grange for 50 years.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Shirley Morasch of Endicott and Linda Thompson of Prosser, Wash.; three sons, Melvin Robinson of Palouse, Wash., Ronald Robinson of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Jerry Robinson of Winona, Wash.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Whitman County Hospital Foundation.

Irving `I.G.’ Peterson Spokane

Private burial will be held for Irving “I.G.” Peterson. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Peterson, who was born in Spokane, died Wednesday. He was 79.

He worked at Kaiser Aluminum for 29 years and retired in 1980.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Helen; a son, James Peterson of Fruitland, Wash.; a brother, Gary Peterson of Spokane; a sister, Bernile Moore of Portland; and two granddaughters.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

Wilma Schierman Endicott, Wash.

Memorial service for Wilma Jean Schierman, 75, will be at 11 a.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Endicott. Bruning Funeral Home in Colfax, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Schierman, who was born in Endicott, died Thursday.

She graduated from Endicott High School in 1941 and attended Kinman Business College in Spokane. She worked for the Bank of Endicott for several years.

Mrs. Schierman married Walter Endicott in 1946 and worked as a cook for the Endicott School District for 27 years. She retired in 1987.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she also was active with the Altar Guild and the funeral committee, and taught Sunday school for several years.

Her husband died in December.

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Stoner of Endicott; two sisters, Alma Morasch of Spokane and Dolores Mader of Colfax; and two grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Endicott Cemetery, Trinity Lutheran Church in Endicott or the St. John-Endicott Co-op Schools Foundation.

Lloyd Templeton Spokane

Graveside service for Lloyd A. Templeton, 84, will be at 2 p.m. today at Pines Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A Spokane resident since 1949, Mr. Templeton died Friday. He was born in Hartford City, Ind.

Mr. Templeton served with the Navy, and later worked as the general manager of sales for Spokane Storm Window.

He was a member of the United Commercial Travelers and Trinity Lutheran Church.

His wife, Lily, preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Larry and Neil Templeton, both of Spokane; a sister, Ruth Siria of Spirit Lake, Idaho; a brother, Kenneth Templeton of Mesa, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

John Edwards Spokane

Memorial service for John H. Edwards, 85, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial will be at the Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery in Seattle. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A 43-year Spokane resident, Mr. Edwards died Thursday. He was born in Havermill, Mass.

Mr. Edwards worked as a boiler and machinery inspector for various insurance companies and for the City of Spokane for many years.

He most recently worked for the House of Travel.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Lois; three daughters, Kathie Foerster and Elizabeth Edwards, both of Spokane, and Ellen Tibert of Lynnwood, Wash.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Gloria Boyer Spokane

Memorial service for Gloria C. Boyer, 66, will be held at a later date. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South is in charge of arrangements.

A 26-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Boyer died Thursday. She was born in New Orleans.

She attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, La., and married Adolph Boyer in 1956.

She worked at the Main Branch of the Spokane Public Library for many years, including management of its literacy program. She retired in 1996.

Mrs. Boyer was a member of Mary Queen Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Karl Boyer, and a daughter, Lore Gaubinger, both of Spokane; two sisters, Ethelyn Condoll of New Orleans and Jeanne Strawder of Los Angeles; and four grandchildren.
