Hints From Heloise

Dear Heloise: Have you ever noticed that most motel rooms have only one mirror, which is close to an electric outlet that is either in the bathroom or at the sink right outside the bathroom? When more than one person is trying to get ready at one time, this can become a major problem.

So, now when my family travels, I try to remember to pack an extension cord so a second person can use a hair dryer or curling iron in front of the mirror in the main area of the motel room.

Sure cuts down the time required for everyone to get ready, which also cuts down the tension and frustration among the male members of the family.
