Sinatra Fans Will Love This Show

Nina Culver Correspondent

The Spokane Opera Guild will present “Spokane Sings Sinatra” on Tuesday at the Spokane Community College’s Lair Center at Mission and Greene. The cabaret party begins with champagne at 6:30 and dinner at 7 p.m.

More than a dozen singers and musicians will sing songs performed by Frank Sinatra in the ‘40s, ‘50s and ‘60s. This close to Valentine’s Day, the tribute to old blue-eyes could make for a romantic evening.

The performers are all present or past members of the Spokane Chorale and many have sung roles with the Spokane Opera. The singers include Mark Branscom, Ann Fennessy, Mike Caldwell, Jim McArthur, Bob Roberts, Clement Hackworthy, Sharon Care, Cathy Fessel, Mary Omer, Judi Werther, Pat Ewars, Suzanne Griepp, Lori Parisot and Tom Williams.

The musicians include pianist Linda Severts, bassist Brian Flick and drummer Mark Tietjen.

Cost is $50 per person; proceeds will benefit Spokane Opera. For reservations, call 533-1150 or 448-8304.
