Scott Klaudt made two free throws with 3 seconds left Saturday to lift Post Falls over Coeur d’Alene 55-53 in a Border League game.

Coeur d’Alene’s Nate Schmidt tied the score at 53 by making two foul shots with 12 seconds left. After Klaudt scored, a shot by the Jason Rupp of the Vikings rimmed out at the buzzer.

Klaudt led the Trojans with 18 points. Jeff Rupp scored 17 for CdA.

Three Lumberjacks scored in double figures as St. Maries kept pace with league-leading Kellogg with its win over the Spartans.

Derick Driggs led St. Maries with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Pat Eberlin followed with 15 points. Trent Duffey added 11. Caleb Driggs had nine assists.

Roger White led Priest River with 20 points.

St. Maries enjoyed a big advantage at the free-throw line, making 25 of 42 shots to Priest River’s 5 of 9.

The Badgers committed fewer turnovers as they avenged an earlier IML loss to the Tigers at Spirit Lake.

Bonners Ferry committed just six turnovers to Timberlake’s 15.

Todd Bateman scored a game-high 25 points for the Badgers. Don Cypher had a team-high 16 for the Tigers.
