Hints From Heloise

Dear Heloise: Here are several tips for use when traveling:

Always carry an extension cord. Plugs may not be in the right place.

Carry 2 inches of string and a rubber band to put around a dripping bathtub or other faucet. Let string hang down so water can go down noiselessly.

Take a large safety pin for use on curtains or drapes that never close together.

Take a small nail clipper; it can be used to cut thread or string.

Keep up the good work. - Bob Davis, Potomac, Md.
