Senior forward Roberto Bergersen scored 22 points and helped spark a 15-4 scoring run at the start of the second half as Boise State defeated New Mexico State 70-48 in Boise. New Mexico State led 7-5 with 14:30 left in the first half, but Boise State came back to hold a 31-21 halftime lead. Boise State’s pressing defense forced 30 turnovers. The Aggies were led in scoring by junior guard Brad Bestor with 21 points. Senior forward Kejuan Woods added 14 for Boise State. The Aggies had five field goals in the first half… . Michael McNair scored eight of his 15 points in a decisive first half as Northern Arizona defeated Montana 74-53 in Flagstaff, Ariz. The Lumberjacks led 32-18 at halftime and coasted from there in their final regular-season home game as they seek their third consecutive conference championship. Montana was paced by 16 points and five rebounds by Bob Olson… . Derrick Higgins and Jason Crowe each scored 13 points to lead Cal State Northridge past Montana State 83-62 in Los Angeles. Nate Holmstadt led Montana State with 28 points and 10 rebounds. Danny Sprinkle, who averages a team-leading 18.6 points per game in conference play, was held to nine.

Gerald Zimmerman, the West Coast Conference’s second-leading scorer, had 24 points as San Francisco held off Loyola Marymount 83-71 in San Francisco. Zimmerman, a senior playing in his final game at home, also had 11 rebounds for the Dons. Five-foot-4 Haywood Eaddy, with 12 points, led four Lions scorers in double figures, which included 10 points and a career-tying 11 rebounds from Silvester Kainga. Robert Davis had 11 points, while Rupert McClendon chipped in with 10 for the Lions.
