Here are two great hints from - Marjorie Earwood of Tuscumbia, Ala.

Spoon Rest: Burner covers make excellent spoon holders. I flip one over at every meal and lay spoons on it.

It’s easy to wash with the dishes for quick cleanup.

Coupon savvy: Often people have a desire to help others. Now that we are retired and have a bit more time, I like to clip money-saving coupons even if I personally can’t use them.

While shopping, I can lay them on the shelf by the item discounted hoping that a person who is going to make that purchase will appreciate using the coupon.
