Dana `Diana’ Brock Spokane

Memorial service for Dana L. “Diana” Brock, 74, was held Friday at the Spokane Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church. Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral ome was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brock, who was born in Coeur d’Alene, died Tuesday.

She worked as a registered nurse in the Seattle area for 12 years before returning to Spokane in the early 1980s.

Mrs. Brock was a member of Spokane Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Doreen Collins and Tina Johnson, both of Spokane, Karen Speakman of Airway Heights, Connie Quesnell of Seattle and Erin Cave of Great Falls, Mont.; three sons, Jim and Dick Johnson, both of Seattle, and Bradley Johnson of Kent, Wash.; and two sisters, a brother, 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Marvin Waddell Coeur d’Alene

Memorial service for Marvin Waddell, 66, will be today at 2 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Inurnment will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.

Mr. Waddell, who was born in Shields, N.D., died Feb. 8.

He grew up in Coeur d’Alene and served with the Army Infantry during the Korean War. He returned to Coeur d’Alene after his military service.

Mr. Waddell married Irene Bomar in 1955 and worked at the Fourth Street Conoco and also was a firefighter for 10 years.

He opened Modern Radiator in 1966 and operated the business for 20 years. He also began managing the Sherman Conoco in 1980.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years; a son, Dale Waddell of Coeur d’Alene; a daughter, Marlene Waddell of California; one sister and two brothers; three grandchildren, Kimberly, Kristy and Aaron; and one great-grandson.

Homer `Pat’ Richardson Spokane

Funeral for Homer C. “Pat” Richardson, 88, will be at 1 p.m. today at Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, Bowdish Chapel. Graveside service is planned for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A 71-year Spokane resident, Mr. Richardson died Friday. He was born in Spokane.

He married Althea McMahan in 1934 and worked for the Kaiser Shipyards, and Pools and McGonall Repair yards in Portland during World War II.

Mr. Richardson returned to Spokane in 1944 and became the owner and operator of Pat’s Welding, which later became Pat’s Truck and Tractor Parts, until 1970.

He ranched in Cave Lake, Idaho, from 1971 until his retirement in 1988. He then moved back to Spokane.

He was a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America and under his leadership 10 Scouts earned the rank of Eagle.

Mr. Richardson and his wife of 64 years, Althea, also served on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1990 to 1991. He was a member of the 10th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Spokane.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Patsy Pearce of Bethany, Okla., Sonya Rasmussen of Spokane and Sharon DeMeester of Kalispell, Mont.; a son, Myron Richardson of Hauser Lake, Idaho; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Raymond Boyd Twin Falls, Idaho

Funeral Mass and burial for Raymond J. Boyd, 80, was held in Burley, Idaho, on Wednesday. Payne Memorial Chapel in Burley was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Boyd, who was born in Spokane, died Monday.

He graduated from North Central High School in Spokane. He served with the Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater and the Korean War.

He later moved to Southern Idaho.

Mr. Boyd was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include a sister, Virginia Brown of Spokane; and longtime friend, Graham Daven of Twin Falls.
